Venice SLOLA Monthly Meeting Sat Feb 17th, 2018 2-4:30pm The Learning Garden, Venice High Campus,13000 Venice Blvd, 90291 Enter on Walgrove. Topic:”POOP HAPPENS. SOMETIMES IT’S FUNNY.” When author Su Falcon decided to get chickens, she had a kind of fuzzy, pastoral ideal of how she and the chickens—and her garden—would all live together in perfect homesteading harmony. In How I Survived My First Year with Chickens, she takes the reader with her across the gap between her dream and the very messy reality of backyard chickens. Su Falcon is a long-time writer and editor. For the past four years, she’s also been editor-in-chief of The Dirt on Organic Gardening Magazine.
